Yields: 8 donuts

Donut Batter
1 cup warm soy milk
1 pack active dry yeast
1/2 cup sugar
Pinch of salt
1/3 cup softened butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg
3 cups flour
Nutella Ganache
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup nutella spread
3/4 cup chocolate chips
Glaze
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 tbsp soy milk

1. Preheat the oven to 325F.
2. Combine the warm milk and the yeast together and let sit for 5 minutes. Set aside.
3. In a big bowl, combine the sugar, salt, butter, vanilla and egg and mix with an electric mixer until everything is well incorporated.
4. Incorporate the flour alternating with the milk mixture and mix with an electric mixer on low speed.
5. Transfer the dough to a lightly greased mixing bowl and cover with plastic wrap or towel. Let rise for 1 hour or so.
6. Roll your dough on a lightly floured surface until you obtain a thickness of roughly 1/2 an inch. Cut off your donuts with a round cookie cutter.
7. Place the donuts on a baking pan and let rise for 1 hour or so.
8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
9. Combine the heavy cream and nutella in a saucepan. Cook on medium heat for a few minutes.
10. Place the chocolate chips in a bowl and pour the heavy cream on the chocolate chips. Combine well until the chocolate chips are completely melted.
11. Pour the ganache in a small bowl and let set in the fridge.
12. Combine all the ingredients for the glaze and mix well.
13. Make a small hole on the side of each donut.
14. Place the ganache in a piping bag with a round tip and pipe the ganache in each donut. If your ganache is too stiff, warm it up in the microwave for a few seconds
15. Dip each donut in the glaze.
16. Optional If you are mazing valentine day's donuts, color some of your glaze in red and decorate with hearts or cute messages.
17. Warm them up in the microwave for a few seconds before serving.

It's better to eat the donuts the same day they were made or warm them up for a few seconds in the microwave before serving
