Yields around 16 cookies
1 1/4 cup room temperature butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups flour
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt
1 cup Reese's pieces
1/2 cup dark chocolate chunks
- Preheat oven to 350f and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugar on high in an electric mixer until it's light and fluffy.
- Sift dry ingredients in a medium mixing bowl and set aside.
- With the mixer on low speed add the eggs in one at a time, waiting until each one is mixed completely. Add in the vanilla extract.
- Slowly add the dry ingredients into the mixing bowl, mix until combined and then add in the reese's pieces and dark chocolate.
- Scoop the cookie dough out onto your baking sheet and bake for around 9 minutes for a soft and chewy cookie.
