Nothing is more festive than hiding confetti in the middle of a dessert! These cookies are the perfect dessert for your new year's eve celebration! I've made chocolate chips cookies but it could be any flavour you like!

Yields 20 cookies

2 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup soften butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
Sprinkles
Glaze
1 egg white
1 tbsp lime or lemon juice
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

1. Preheat the oven to 350F.
2. In a small bowl, combine the flour and baking powder.
3. In a medium size bowl, combine the butter, sugar, egg and vanilla with an electric mixer until you obtain a fluffy and light texture.
4. Incorporate the dry ingredients gradually using a spatula and/or your hands.
5. Roll out the dough onto a floured surface until you get roughly 0.5mm thickness.
6. Cut all the dough using a round shape cookie cutter. Using a smaller round cookie cutter, cut the center to create a donut shape with 20 cookies.
7. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 7-8 minutes or until the cookies are slightly golden.
8. Combine all the ingredients for the glaze and mix well with a fork.
9. Place a small amount of glaze on the edge of one circle cookie and place a donut shape cookie on top. Repeat until you used all your donut cookies.
10. Put sprinkles in the center and place a small amount of glaze on the edge of the donut cookie and place a circle cookie on top. Repeat until you used all your cookies.
11. Ice the top of each cookie with the glaze. Let set.
12. Once the glaze is completely set, with a edible ink pen, draw a clock on each cookie and serve!
