Cookies and Cream Blondie
This recipe is one of the best comforting dessert ever! It barely last 6hrs after I made it, it's just impossible to stop eating it once you started! It's absolutely delicious eaten warm with vanilla ice cream on the side!
Yields 6-8 bars
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/3 cups flour
1 tsp baking power
Pinch of salt
1 cup chunks of oreo cookies
Hersey cookies and cream bar (Optional)
- Preheat the oven at 350F and lightly coat a baking pan (8"x4") with butter and flour.
- Combine the flour, baking powder and salt in a small bowl.
- In another bowl, combine the melted butter and both sugars. Add one egg at a time and the vanilla and mix well between each additions.
- Incorporate the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Fold in the oreo cookie chunks with a spatula. Pour the mixture into the ban. Place chunks of the hersey bar on top(Optional)
- Bake for 30-35min. We are aiming for a fudgy and slightly undercook centre
- Serve warm with a side of vanilla ice cream!
